Nos deux pays entretiennent d\u2019ailleurs un r\u00e9seau \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique fortement int\u00e9gr\u00e9, reposant sur des ol\u00e9oducs, mais aussi sur le transport ferroviaire et routier.<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 sa longue existence, le march\u00e9 du p\u00e9trole est souvent pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re simplifi\u00e9e : un pays produit du p\u00e9trole, couvre ses besoins nationaux et, s\u2019il en a en trop, il exporte ses surplus.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9alit\u00e9 est beaucoup plus complexe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2decd9fc elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2decd9fc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Un march\u00e9 mondial<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5110abd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5110abd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Le p\u00e9trole (consommation quotidienne\u202f: plus de 100 millions de barils\/jour) est \u00e9chang\u00e9 sur un march\u00e9 profond\u00e9ment mondialis\u00e9. C\u2019est d\u2019ailleurs la\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/oilprice.com\/Energy\/Crude-Oil\/Oil-Dominates-the-5-Trillion-Global-Commodity-Market.html#:~:text=Oil%20and%20its%20products%20represent,the%20value%20of%20material%20exported.\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">commodit\u00e9 la plus \u00e9chang\u00e9e au monde<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">. Il peut \u00eatre facilement stock\u00e9 et transport\u00e9 dans des barils\u202f:\u00a0l\u2019unit\u00e9 standard \u00e9tant de 159 litres. Or, la r\u00e9volution de schiste\u00a0aux \u00c9tats-Unis, durant la d\u00e9cennie 2010,\u00a0a permis d\u2019augmenter la production de p\u00e9trole, mais\u00a0celui-ci\u00a0est\u00a0de type\u00a0l\u00e9ger\u00a0(faible densit\u00e9). Ils importent donc une grande partie importante de leurs produits p\u00e9troliers raffin\u00e9s (essence, diesel ou k\u00e9ros\u00e8ne) de r\u00e9gions voisines, notamment du Canada. Une portion importante du p\u00e9trole consomm\u00e9 chaque jour dans le monde passe\u00a0entre les mains de\u00a0ces entreprises. Sur son site web, l\u2019entreprise indique commercialiser\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vitol.com\/solutions\/crude-oil-products\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">environ 7,2 millions de barils de p\u00e9trole par jour et\u00a0des\u00a0produits raffin\u00e9s<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">.\u00a0Elle dispose \u00e9galement d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 de raffinage d\u2019environ 1,2 million de barils par jour et participe activement au transport maritime.
